I am currently pursuing an expanding IT career. I currently partake in quite a few hobbies in other industries, such as the Football and Esports industries. I am currently employed full time in a DevOps role, however, I also work with various esports companies as a freelance commentator or broadcast producer. On top of that, I am an FA qualified football referee on weekends for a couple of leagues. I became a Football Referee in 2021 and I have been refereeing on weekends since then. I’ve covered a few leagues and competitions already. These include the FA Cup, FA Women's Cup, FA Youth Cup, and the Thames Valley Leagues. I’m currently Level 6, but will potentially be moving up to Level 5 this season (2024/2025). My goal is to obtain Level 4 and to referee a higher level of the football pyramid. You can find out more about England's Football Referee pyramid system here.
I am currently working on obtaining a Kubernetes certification with the assistance of my workplace. I have completed a course through Udemy, I am currently working on completing my Kubernetes exam. I also hope to do the same with Terraform later in the year.
I currently own a limited company that specialises in offering Esports Broadcast solutions. These solutions encompass Broadcast productions, camera control/directing, and Esports commentating/analysis. This company has been active since 2016 and is currently working with companies such as The NUEL, NSE, ESL FACE IT, and others.
Right now, I am working with small brands and businesses as a consultant only. I am helping where I can on the coding side and on the graphic design side too. I am fully focused on the WordPress CMS only as it makes it easier to learn the components simply to improve my WordPress development techniques. WordPress is a Content Management System that is used by all types of businesses to manage the content and pages on their website. It involves HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. I am working on improving my knowledge on all these languages individually.
